Community Association Law

Representing community associations is what we do. The firm's founding members are seasoned attorneys, each with over 10 years of experience assisting communities with a myriad of legal needs. Gaddis Vath Lanier, LLC specializes in all aspects of community association issues, including the following:

Retainer Options

A community may choose to work with us on a retainer or non-retainer basis. Gaddis Vath Lanier, LLC offers several Community Association Retainer options with extremely competitive rates (starting at only $900 per year). Our retainer program not only includes telephone consultations and an in-person meeting, but we will provide sample documents, such as form ACC Design Guidelines and form Collections Policy.

Collection Services

To collect assessments from your delinquent owners, we will also provide lien filing services for small debts under $300 as part of the retainer fee (you only pay $25 in costs), and we offer deferred legal fees of $175 per account on all other pre-suit collections accounts, that the association only pays when we collect from the debtor (again, the association only pays $25 per account for costs). Our collection litigation is unique: fixed, flat fees for litigation services. Your association should not have to worry about going over budget in any given year due to the often escalating costs of litigation when billed by the hour. We offer flat fees so that you know exactly what to expect and can budget accordingly.

We prioritize personal and timely communication with our clients. Whether you are a small self-managed neighborhood, a several-hundred home golf course community or a high-rise condominium: we have the expertise to service your community's needs. Every community deserves personalized legal services at an affordable price. We look forward to working with you and to being "Your Neighborhood Attorneys."
