Floyd represents condominiums, townhomes, and homeowner associations as counsel/litigator for these corporations throughout the state of Georgia. Prior to joining the firm, Floyd practiced in the areas of litigation, collection and bankruptcy, including serving as the managing attorney for consumer bankruptcy firms in Ohio and Pennsylvania. He is thus able to bring a unique perspective to the practice of community associations.
Floyd has extensive experience with representation of homeowners associations, cooperatives and condominium associations, and his work involves general litigation, enforcing provisions of community associations covenants, conditions and restrictions, as well as collecting past-due community association assessments for clients. Floyd has extensive training in alternative dispute resolution and is well versed in acting as a stanch advocate for clients in all negotiating situations.
Floyd is an active member of the Georgia Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), and has served on Tennis Committee since 2008.
