Area of Practice

Ashley Lanier is a founding member of Gaddis Vath Lanier, LLC. Her areas of practice include general corporate work, representation of condominiums, cooperatives and homeowner associations, and adoption law. She provides counsel in handling general corporate matters, covenant enforcement issues, reviving outdated documents, and transitioning from developer control and from voluntary to mandatory membership for association clients. Additionally, Ashley assists individuals with the domestication "re-adoption" process for international adoptions as well as practicing domestic adoption law.

In the Profession

An active member of the Georgia Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), Ashley currently serves on the Articles Committee for Common Ground Magazine and is the chair elect for 2010. Ashley also has served as a past member of the Fundraising Committee and the Membership Committee.

In the Community

Ashley and her husband, Michael, have two children and reside on the Southside of Atlanta. Michael is the D.A.R.E. program educator for the Coweta County Sheriff's Department. The Laniers also sponsor two foster homes in China where their daughter resided prior to her adoption. The entire family holds an annual fundraiser to benefit the orphans of China that continue to wait for their forever families and are involved in many other local community projects.
